If an employer has Desired Qualifications, this does not necessarily mean that you will not be considered for the role because you don’t have them, it means that is a plus for them if you already have achieved those qualifications.
If the chosen candidate does not possess GCSE’s (e.g. in Maths or English), some training providers might even give the option of doing Functional Skills whilst on the apprenticeship.
