About this course
Ths course covers the basics, after the course you will be able to communicate confidently to Deaf people, using basic sign language skills in a variety of situations.
What you will study
- Fingerspelling the alphabet
- Numbers, calendar, dates, times and colours
- How to explain directions and different modes of transport
- How to talk about family, hobbies, interests and everyday activities
- How to describe people, objects and buildings

- You do not need any formal qualifications to join this course
Progression
- You can progress onto the British Sign Language Level 2
